
Author Guidelines
Introduction
The International Journal of Library Sciences and Analytics (IJLSA) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of Library and Information Science (LIS) and its interdisciplinary domains. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, librarians, and information professionals to disseminate innovative ideas, empirical research findings, and practical insights.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must adhere to ethical research and publication standards, ensuring integrity, transparency, and academic honesty.
IJLSA accepts the following types of contributions:
- Research Articles
- Review Papers
- Case Studies
- Technical Reports
- Short Communications
The journal follows a double-blind peer review process to maintain the quality and credibility of published work. Each manuscript is evaluated based on originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.
Authors are required to follow the prescribed formatting and referencing style (APA latest edition) while preparing their manuscripts. Submissions that do not comply with the journal guidelines may be returned for revision before the review process.
The editorial board of IJLSA is committed to ensuring a fair, timely, and transparent review process, supporting authors in improving the quality of their research for publication.
Guidelines for Manuscripts (Font and Style)
- File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Font: Use Times New Roman, size 12 for the main text, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Margins: Use 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Headings:
- Main headings: Bold, size 14
- Sub-headings: Bold, size 12
- References: Follow APA style for all citations.
- Tables and Figures: Embed within the text, properly labeled and referenced.
Format for Manuscripts
Each manuscript should include the following sections:
Title Page
- Title of the manuscript (concise and informative).
- Full names of all authors.
- Email IDs, mobile numbers, and designations of all authors.
- Clearly identify the corresponding author.
Abstract
- 150–200 words summarizing research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords
- 4-6 keywords reflecting the core themes of the paper.
Main Text
- Introduction: Present the research problem, objectives, and significance.
- Literature Review: Summarize existing research and highlight gaps addressed by the study.
- Methodology: Describe research design, data collection methods, and analytical techniques.
- Results: Present findings with appropriate tables and figures.
- Discussion: Interpret results, linking to research questions and existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.
- References: Consistently follow APA style.
Tables and Figures
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.)
- Each must have a clear and descriptive caption
- Indicate placement in the text as: [Insert Table/Figure here]
- Tables should be editable (not images), and figures must be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
- Sources (if any) must be properly acknowledged below the table/figure
Acknowledgments (if any)
- Recognize contributions that do not warrant authorship.
Appendices (if any)
- Include supplementary material relevant to the content.

- A cover letter clearly stating that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere
- The manuscript prepared strictly according to the Author Guidelines
- Full details of all authors, including names, designations, institutional affiliations, email IDs, and mobile numbers
- Clear identification of the corresponding author for all communication
All submissions are acknowledged within 3–5 working days, after which they are processed for double-blind peer review. Authors will be informed of the editorial decision, which may include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.
